Pangolin Life's core focus is working with communities to help them overcome common environmental challenges.

In countries struggling to move forward, many families still live day by day with their primary focus being finding enough food for their children and providing shelter and sage water. Alongside this lies common environmental issues such as ground water pollution from lack of adequate sanitation, and waste disposal issues from plastics to food waste to sewage. It is also often the case that there is a lack of education about health and its links to the surrounding environment.

• Sharing knowledge through environmental education focussing on STEM subjects with links to local schools and teachers, individuals and communities
• Supporting entrepreneurs and innovative individuals to further their skills on their own ideas, to enable benefit to their local community and environment

Education.

Pangolin promotes education, using STEM focussed teaching in local schools to awaken children's natural curiosity and to allow them to grow up with an understanding of these subjects. This helps them link their own and their community's welfare with the environmental issues that their country faces. Pangolin also aims to 'teach the teachers' in these local schools to become confident in STEM teaching to ensure that this is ongoing. 

Innovation.

Pangolin finds or develops, and then installs, innovative technology that helps solve environmental issues affecting local communities. This technology has to be simple, robust and replicable in-country to ensure an on-going benefit. 

Pangolin finds and sponsors local individuals to obtain the skills needed to practically help environmental issues in their country. This can be creating and developing their own ideas and innovations, or training and support to enable them to promote, install and service / maintain tired and tested technology. This provides these individuals with an income stream and ensures the on-going promotion, education and servicing of the technology into the future benefitting both indiviudals and their local communities.
